Asset Management Analyst

Job Description Job Description Wogan Group is looking for an ambitious Asset Management Analyst for our growing property management company. This position will help oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties and assist in maximizing property values through analysis. This position is at the corporate office in Memphis, TN.
Essential Job Functions:
Review financials every month to ensure income and expense items are being coded correctly, and that performance objectives are being achieved.
Analyze and interpret financial statements, budgets and other key performance metrics to determine cost savings and revenue enhancements.
Update excel models and trackers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Scrutinize occupancy rates, operating costs, cash flow, and budget discrepancies, discussing with Operations.
Complete and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports to clients and lenders.
Work with Director of Asset Management for analysis in operation strategy and property valuations.
Demonstrate initiative and ownership by assisting with the timely resolution of various property-level concerns.
Participate in acquisition due diligence including lease reviews, pro forma analysis, and market research.
Qualifications:
Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling
Detail oriented and highly organized with an ability to learn technology and software easily
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree required. Finance, Business, or Real Estate focus preferred.
Experience in property management, asset management, or finance preferred.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Travel
Occasional travel required, including overnight travel.
