About The Role

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a project manager to support clients located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

Leading projects through all internal and external processes

Managing the project lifecycle from pre-construction to commissioning

Undertaking responsibility for the overall management of the project scope, schedule and cost

Handling key project decision-making

Managing a collaborative project team to ensure each key functional project discipline is meeting the planned project scope, schedule, and cost

Leading the overall project - coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation

Leading project meetings

Developing, updating, and managing the project plan associated with the project lifecycle

Coordinating communication and providing status updates to stakeholders as required

Assessing project risk and proactively developing mitigation plans

Proactively managing project requests for information and action items

Working collaboratively with the project controls team to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracked to plan

Ensuring availability or seeking out adequate resources to support the project

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

Requirements: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

A minimum of 15 years' experience in construction project management

PMP certificate desired

Ability to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required

Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions and consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule and cost objectives

Proven experience in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)

Excellent leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills

Understanding of business environments and processes

Ability to problem-solve, set priorities and meet goals

High levels of expertise, commitment, self-confidence and integrity
