Key Responsibilities: Responsible to the Board of Directors for establishing safety standards and maintaining flight operations per all FAA and DOT requirements.
Responsible for ensuring effective Operational Control is maintained for all flight operations.
Oversee, distribute, and maintain company manuals, procedures, revisions, and necessary information.
Accountable for ensuring competent and adequate crew, dispatch, and administrative staffing.
Responsible for training and maintaining pilot records.
Responsible for communicating and coordinating with other departments to ensure safety and efficiency.
Responsible for budget development, establishment, and budget performance.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements: (Preferred) hold Airline Transport Pilot certificate with fleet experience in turboprop or light jets.
At least five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
At least five (5) years experience as PIC of an aircraft operated under parts 121, 125, or 135.
Effective communication, both written and verbal.
Team-oriented, creates an inclusive and motivating work environment.
Action-oriented, seizes opportunities to make quick and efficient decisions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
Previous DO experience.
