We’re a new and highly collaborative team full of incredibly skilled people to learn, and we need YOU in order to help Canva to keep moving fast and become a world-class FP&A team.

About the role

Our GTM FP&A team collaborates with our world-class Sales, Marketing and International teams to supercharge our growth motions to help Canva become one of the most valuable companies in the world. This team partners with business leaders to develop our investment strategy, understand the potential outcomes, and continually iterate to ensure we're deploying resources in the best way to sustain Canva's incredible growth.

At our latest Canva Create, we launched Canva Enterprise which is our newest subscription offering designed to empower large organisations to easily create high-impact visual content and scale internal collaboration. Enterprise is a fundamental part of our business strategy and requires deep partnership with Finance to achieve our crazy big goals. You’ll be pivotal in establishing frameworks, supporting revenue targets and accelerating maturity.

This is a one of a kind opportunity as you’ll shape the vision of Sales Finance from scratch in a greenfield environment, working with a diverse team and dynamic stakeholders. If you're ready to take on a transformative role in a rapidly growing company, there’s no better time to join!

What you’ll be doing

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. You’ll add value through:

Partnering with our Sales & Finance business leaders to understand the lay of the land of our sales finance environment and run a detailed discovery to develop and bring to life the vision for the Sales FP&A team.

Creating and implementing frameworks and processes to enable effective investment planning, resource allocation and performance management

Work collaboratively with our topline FP&A, sales strategy and sales operations teams, to jointly craft and manage a holistic financial plan for Canva’s enterprise business

Partnering with senior sales leaders to steer Canva’s future, conducting analysis and crafting stories to shape strategic planning, execution and efficiency.

Collaborating with the broader FP&A and Finance team to drive financial & planning excellence.

You're probably a match if you

have deep Sales FP&A or Sales strategy experience , in particular B2B Sales partnering within global SaaS companies (critical) .

have experience in building and/or leading sales FP&A functions in high complexity, low structure environments.

are a succinct and engaging communicator (your resume is a great way to show this)

strong interpersonal skills liaising with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

are experienced in being resourceful and pragmatic, thriving in a world of imperfect data but adept at using the right tools, insights and communication methods to influence stakeholders and inspire action.

thrive in chaos, embracing challenges with high adaptability.

have a bias for action and problem solving.

have a natural curiosity and a hunger for continuous learning.

have experience or aspire to coaching a team.

At Canva we value fairness, and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills, experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is $180K to $245K. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
