What you will be doing:

The

Sr. Program Manager,

a member of the Enterprise Program Management Office, is a position central to our mission of innovation and elevation. This position will not only lead projects spanning multiple business functions but also champion continuous improvement and organizational change across our teams. You will be accountable for delivering successful projects, ensuring alignment across key business partners, ensuring the required resources are assigned and enterprise tools are leveraged, and driving successful outcomes within a given timeline.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to determine project deliverables, define timelines and budgets, proactively manage issues and risks, lead project teams in creating deliverables, communicate project status, and advise executive sponsors regarding project-related decisions. This role will partner closely with the leadership team at Helen of Troy to deliver high-priority enterprise projects.

Support cross-functional teams to develop business cases, project plans, and implementation roadmaps for key initiatives, based on agreed scope and in liaison with the project team and partners.

Leads medium to large-size key initiatives, using project management tools to deliver results; accomplishes program objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.

Earn trust and establish positive relationships with people on all levels of the organization including, C-Level executives, directors, leaders, and team members to communicate the strategy, supervise and communicate progress on tactical issues, and work closely with Business Leaders to resolve/improve day-to-day processes and program delivery execution.

Gain subject matter depth on a multitude of topics and be skilled at the synthesis of multiple sources of information to create real and actionable insights that drive effective project delivery.

Facilitate meetings to ensure the project team is aligned on expectations and clear on project action items and decision points.

Create partner communication and change management strategy for assigned projects to ensure smooth transitions and adaptability within the team.

Identify and manage risks and interdependencies throughout the life of a project. Ensure all customers and project team members are aware of the risks and the appropriate response actions taken to minimize the impact or likelihood of occurrence.

Create an environment that champions innovation and challenges the status quo.

Maintain metric-based project reporting across all activities and projects that communicate timely, relevant, and accurate project health information.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships that drive outcomes in the best interest of the company, with other associates, and with key external business partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management, or relevant field of study.

PMP, SAFe, ACP, or CSM certification.

7+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of demonstrating intuition for business and analytic capability to position the organization as a critical business partner.

Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Six Sigma experience

Master's Degree

Strong preference for candidates with extensive experience working on sophisticated, integrated platforms.
