Job Title: Catia Designer
Job Description
As a Catia Designer, you will be responsible for utilizing your extensive knowledge of Catia V5 in addressing our company's design needs. You will create both simple and complex detail, sub-assembly, and top assembly drawings, write engineering orders, and make changes to existing drawings. You will also perform weight calculations and design checks of models and drawings created by other drafters. Furthermore, you will assist our shop, customers, and vendors in reading and interpreting company and customer drawings to facilitate assembly BOMs.
Skills
+ Knowledge of Catia V5
+ Experience in 3D modeling
+ Ability to perform weight calculations
+ Ability to perform design checks
+ Experience with PLM software (Enovia)
+ Knowledge of ACS and MBD
+ Knowledge of GD&T practices
+ Understanding of manufacturing processes for metallic components and sheet metal forming
+ Ability to create tooling models and drawings
+ Ability to perform tolerance stack-ups and interference checks
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Months).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in BURBANK, California.
