**About the Opportunity**
We are currently looking for 1 Global Lead Buyers for Digital R&D
Note: The new organization relies on team spirit, on collective leadership and on flexibility & Agility, the Global Lead Buyers may be requested to support on activities out of their regular scopes when needed.
The Global Lead Buyers will report to the Digital Procurement Business Partners of R&D.
As a Global Lead Buyer, you will act as a primary point of contact for the stakeholders together with the Business Partner you will report to, you will be responsible for leading strategic and exciting negotiations and manage deals with a various landscape providors for all spend categories. A significant aspect of your role will be to coach/mentor and accompany Global Buyers who will address some sourcing projects and negotiations for your scopeNote:

**About the Sanofi Business Unit**
Digital Procurement domain has been created in October 2020. The ambition of this Procurement Domain is to maximize the value of Digital sourcing activities across several external spend categories: IT & Digital Services, Hardware & Telecom, Software. The total addressable spend is 1,3 B.
Our activities are very diversified: we source and negotiate Digital assets covering needs of all Sanofi Business Units and Global Functions (R&D, IA, but also Corporate functions and infrastructure). We work closely with each of our internal stakeholders and believe that Business Partnering is key to be successful and deliver added value.
The Digital Procurement domain has set up a new organization, starting 1st Jan 2021. The organization relies on several key roles: Digital procurement Business Partners, Global Lead Buyers, Category Managers and Global and Regional Buyers.

**In this role you will.**
360 Strategic activities with Stakeholders, Procurement Network and Providers
* Create strong business partnering with main stakeholders of your scope
* Anticipate and consolidate all business needs at the global level, in order to optimize negotiations at both Global and Regional level
* Develop and share the expertise of suppliers markets with Procurement network (Digital and others) and the stakeholders
* Participate in the definition and implementation of category strategies in accordance with the recommendations of the category managers
* Achieve the goals set by the Business Partner you will report to
* Coach Global Buyers in their sourcing approach, tactics, market knowledge
* Proactively communicate on on-going sourcing activities within the Domain
* Proactively work with other Procurement Domains
* Robust Supplier Management
Tactical activities
* Lead strategic sourcing activities (such as RFPs) and negotiations, some of them could be transversal in accordance with the strategies defined by the category management
* Ensure integration with business on a global and regional level, with the support of procurement organizations in the region
**About you**
**Qualifications/ Education & work experience**
Technical skills
* 5 years in a position of a buyer, sales, partnership, outsourcing, project manager etc.
* Fluent English
* Leadership, synthesis, communication skills are a must
* Project management (transversal management)
* Knowledge of Digital market trends
* Good legal and financial knowledge
* Knowledge and respect of Procurement Ethics
