For a Client who provides shared business services to a wide variety of successful companies worldwide, we are looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer capable of driving implementation across different environments.
Tasks & Deliverables:
Delivering solutions using MS Azure, AWS, or similar tools.
Ability to automate tasks and deploy production standard code with unit testing, continuous integration, and versioning.
Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
Working in an Agile framework.
Liaising with Business Analysts on technical solutions.
Assisting with Production Support activities.
Requirements:
Strong recent experience working as an Azure Data Engineer, with prior experience in AWS, Informatica IICS, or Power Center.
Strong experience in Cloud Application Integration and Cloud Data Integration.
Strong experience in DevOps platforms such as GitHub with hands-on experience in branching, merging strategy, rebasing, and reviewing history.
Experience developing application integration using SOAP/REST APIs and big data technologies like Apache Spark.
Good knowledge of Rest V2, Swagger file generation, and Python scripting
Experience in Kubernetes and Docker
Engagement highlights:
On-site role. The Client prefers talents based in Dallas, TX , or nearby regions such as New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, etc. to be on-site or travel frequently.
Long-term project! The client might be looking for the talent to stay for the next 2-3 years.
The role requires FT commitment (40 hours per week).
