About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide strategic technical expertise and leadership in the long-range technology planning and modernization of its information systems. The CTO will serve as a senior advisor to the Office of Inspector General leadership, guiding the strategic direction of the organization's information technology and infrastructure modernization. This role involves continuous assessment of current and emerging technology trends, with a focus on high-impact initiatives such as enterprise architecture, information technology investments, and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of technological innovations, including but not limited to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and zero trust architecture. Additionally, the CTO will be expected to represent the Assistant Inspector General for Management in technical matters, engage in policy proposals, and provide expert analysis for technical solutions with a strong emphasis on performance, resilience, and security.Applicants for the CTO position at the company must be U.S. citizens and meet stringent requirements for the role. This includes a background investigation, a one-year probationary period, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of specialized experience at a senior level, demonstrating expertise in leading and managing the modernization of IT systems. The role requires a deep understanding of a wide range of technology challenges and the ability to provide expert advice and business justifications to senior executives. A strong technical background in areas such as cloud computing, AI, and enterprise architecture is essential. The CTO will be expected to have a proven track record in evaluating, testing, and integrating complex technical solutions, as well as the ability to communicate technical information and concepts effectively.
