Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in Psychology Department, Non-Tenure Track

Description

The Psychology Department at Suffolk University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice, a non-tenure track position in the Mental Health Counseling (MHC) master's program starting Summer 2024. Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree in either clinical or counseling psychology (PhD, PsyD, EdD) and be license-eligible in the state of Massachusetts. The position responsibilities are 50% teaching in the MHC program and 50% administration in support of the MHC program. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for teaching internship, practicum and related intervention courses, coordinating external placements throughout the Boston area, establishing new training relationships, and overseeing counselor training and evaluation processes in collaboration with the program director. Area of interest is open but demonstrated expertise in working with underserved populations is desired.
