Position Profile
The Planner is responsible for optimizing, developing planning, scheduling by/which includes analyzing new customer orders,
ensuring that production orders, purchase orders, and other supporting requirements are in place to successfully deliver on or
before the customer due date. The planner will work under the direct supervisor of the Planning and Production Control supervisor
and will bring with them previous experience with ERP and MRP or a related field.
What youll do
Analyze customer and manufacturing orders for material availability and schedule them for earliest delivery based on customer
requirements, factory capacity and material / process constraints.
Ensure that all material and processes are ordered to support customer commitments.
Review MRP to determine material needs.
Communicate due dates and updated orders on hold.
Verify due dates on Sales orders and send updates
Interface with all other functional areas in order to resolve scheduling conflicts or answer requests for clarification.
Provide research and analysis of problem areas and recommend possible solutions.
Analyze and provide feedback for expedited orders
Prepare and distribute planning and exceptions reports.

Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience
Five or more years experience with ERP and MRP planning
Two or more years of problem solving experience
Two or more years project management experience
Above average working knowledge of customer service, engineering procedures, and production processes.
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work with interruptions
Communication skills including email and phone.
Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
Deep product knowledge of fixtures types, classes, and components
High School diploma or equivalent required.
