About the Role
The Company is seeking a Global Financial Crimes Governance, Advisory, and Oversight QA Manager at the Vice President level. This role is pivotal in leading the Regional Americas GFCD QA GAO function, advising and overseeing all QA teams across key financial crimes controls such as AML, ABC, KYC, and Sanctions in the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operation of the financial crime compliance framework, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of output, and escalating risks or issues as necessary. Additionally, the role involves maintaining technical and non-technical personal development, supervising team members, and contributing to the development of global and regional minimum standards for FCC QA.Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years of financial industry and compliance experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a global organization driving change and program enhancement. A thorough understanding of financial crime risk management and experience in FCC QA, oversight, and technical advice provision are essential. The role requires interaction with senior leadership and compliance experts, as well as experience in interfacing with banking regulators and enforcement staff. Financial crime risk management or control design and evaluation-related certifications are also expected. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team and be adept at managing responsibilities in a "business as usual" environment.
