The Broadcom Gen development team in Plano, Texas develops a leading application generation technology driving some of the world's largest banks, insurance companies, shipping and logistics companies, airlines, retailers and more. What You'll Do
Research and develop innovative new solutions that will help to shape the future direction of Broadcom.
Work within a scrum team in an agile development environment, with an opportunity to gain exposure to many of the key agile roles.
Design and code functionality for enterprise-level products that meet functional and business requirements.
Participate in design and code reviews with other engineers.
Participate in test plan reviews and develop automated test scripts to deliver high quality software solutions.
What You Need Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Prior experience as a developer in an agile work environment part of the Scrum team.
Experience with designing and using web APIs like gRPC, ReST etc
Experience working with language servers or compiler desired, Broadcom Gen experience preferred.
Expertise in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, C, C++
Expertise in Unix/Linux operating systems.
Strong problem analysis and debugging skills
Expertise in relational databases.
Knowledge and related experience in one or more of the following: Cloud Native Architectures, Containers, .NET, TCP/IP, Tuxedo, WebSphere, Liberty, WebLogic, JBoss (WildFly), InstallAnywhere, Eclipse
And the willingness to learn technologies/tools and grow
Additional skills that will benefit your efforts Knowledge and related product expertise in one or more of the following: Python, Typescript, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Jakarta, Oracle, Db2, MS SQL Server, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, COM, Windows MFC, Jenkins, Ansible

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
