Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Branch Operation Manager to join our team. The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the entire operation of a branch; from ensuring the attainment of sales goals to overseeing everyone provides excellent customer service. This also ensures that the branch office has all the tools and infrastructure needed to keep it in working order. In this position, you will report to the Director, Branch Operations.
Responsibilities:
Utilize fastener industry knowledge to source products and provide timely quotes to customers.
Enter orders into ERP system and work with purchasing to ensure product is available to customers on time.
Promote and sell Southern Fasteners products and services.
Assist warehouse with receiving, inspecting, pulling, packing, and delivering orders as needed.
Meet all customer requirements and resolve any corrective action.
Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and work team.
Identify, quantify, and maintain the necessary manning levels budgeted under the branch or branches you manage.
Able to interview, hire, train and discipline personnel with continuous motivation and professional development for your employees.
Provide yearly performance appraisals with branch personnel by conducting face to face meetings to review each performance objectives.
Adhere to the Safety programs, housekeeping and security responsibilities set forth by senior management.
Must Haves:
3+ years experience in Branch Operations
3+ years of fastener or related MRO industry experience.
Extensive knowledge of fasteners and fastener sources.
3+ years experience in Branch Operations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills.
Must be a self-starter who takes initiative.
Microsoft Excel skills are a plus.
