The scope includes conducting trade studies, solid modeling, and conducting preliminary analysis in support of developing solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content which supports timely closure that supports the project’s milestones. Generate and release drawings using CAD software. Primary job responsibilities include conceptual and detailed mechanical design, tolerance analyses, and performing trade studies. The individual will be responsible for 2D and 3D engineering documentation creation and initial release, as well as coordination with other engineering and production disciplines for change notices and drawing revisions for producibility and affordability improvements. Candidate will be working in the Advanced Programs area in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
