Job Duties:Gather requirements for new features or software systems from customers and other business stakeholders, prepare software designs and estimates for the work, and develop the code to implement the design and requirements, using a variety of tools including server-side technologies such as .NET and SQL, as well as client-side technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS. Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software from inception to production. Drive complex software changes involving multiple components and deliver quality changes, including automated tests, metrics, and monitoring. Use existing testing methodologies (both manual and automated) to validate work as well as evaluate the testing strategies of others. Guide and review changes to product features in line with product roadmaps. Build components and processes that are regularly used by others as well as execution plans incorporating user data, observations, and market insight. Monitor performance and quality of existing features, as well as respond to issues raised by customers or stakeholders to improve existing features, including adding new capabilities, upgrading interfaces, improving performance, or correcting errors. Facilitate the development of large software features and releases and raise technical issues as appropriate and respond to issues raised by others to ensure timely and quality delivery of work. Validate changes to ensure high quality product releases. Contribute to development of comprehensive success criteria including defining and measuring KPIs. Use data to analyze and communicate the impact of their work on operational efficiency.

Salary: $283,442/year

Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: JavaScript, TypeScript and CSS, including client-side libraries and frameworks; one or more of the following languages on the server-side: C#, Java, or similar. Must have three (3) years of experience with software development code editors and version control systems. Must have two (2) years of experience with Agile Scrum tools.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
