**What You'll Do**

We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to join our Retirement & Income Solutions business under our Workplace Savings & Retirement Solutions. This is a critical leadership role supporting our core recordkeeping capabilities!

+ Participates in staff recruitment, performance assessments, training, and career development. Responsible for all headcount planning and personnel evolution for multiple areas of the engineering organization.

+ Create a culture of clear accountability. Empower every employee to act and engage them with a compelling mission and vision.

+ Cultivate and expand a high-performing engineering team, fostering leadership development and critical thinking for vendor and Principal engineering teams.

+ Collaborate closely with executive leadership to align technology strategies with business goals

+ Consult and connect with business partners to understand business strategy and make recommendations on future technical trends/directions that encompass multiple systems and teams to meet business critical initiatives.

+ Collaborate across functional and organizational areas to define, prioritize and ensure implementation of specific innovations to improve technical functionality in support of business needs, efficiencies and revenue.

+ Communicate technical concepts to business partners as well as business objectives to the technical team. Uses good communication skills to collaborate effectively with all collaborators including customers, senior management and other business leaders.

**Salary Range Information**

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

**Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)**

$153000 - $207000 / year

**Time Off Program**

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
