Eaton's North America Electrical Sales Division is seeking a Field Project Manager. This hybrid role will be located in our New York, NY, or Mountainside, NJ facility. Relocation assistance is available within the US.
What you'll do:
The primary function of a Field Based Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position is heavily involved in the electrical and mechanical details of major strategic project order and focuses on Heavy Multitenant High Rise, Hospital, University, Commercial Construction, Data Center, Utility and Industrial Projects The Field Project Manager will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for products, documentations, and quality.
In this function you will:
You will utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to their project orders
You will assess and apply in depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients in one or more specialty areas, requiring technical application
You will upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and customer trends
You will ensure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to achieve business goals
You will proactively use competitive information to leverage advantages of Eaton Corporation
You will negotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customers
You will improve financial position for Eaton and the customer.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.
Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
PMP Certification
Experience in electrical or other technical industry
The expected annual salary range for this role is $111600.0 - $163680.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
