**Regional Safety Manager**
Charlotte, NC / Southeast (Contour & Geoservices) Occupational Health & Safety Department / Full-Time **Job Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with senior leadership on Safety initiatives
+ Coordinate, gather data and respond to various types of insurance claims
+ Provide data to help the legal team defend non-meritorious claims (accident investigation)
+ Actively use alternate dispute resolution mechanisms and lessons learned/prevention activities
+ Gather data to perform a cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and strategic cost reduction strategies.
+ Conduct safety training when needed
+ Conduct JHAs at various job sites
+ Assist in new employee orientation when needed
+ Conduct root cause analysis to determine causes of incident/accidents
+ Implement and report on impactful risk metrics that impact financial performance
+ Maintain confidentiality of data
+ Work with the executive safety team and act as subject matter expert for other corporate areas such as HR, IT, and Finance on matters of risk exposure
**You will be responsible for the following Territories:** North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, & D.C.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Business or related field required. (Experience can supplement degree)
+ 2-5 years of experience, preferably in the construction industry
+ Member of Professional Insurance & Risk Management organizations
+ Ability to use data, insights, and trends to draw clear correlations and influence behaviors
+ Expert in data gathering and reporting software, including MS Suite
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Masters degree in a related field.
