The University makes available a broad array of credit and non-credit courses, seminars and workshops through the Division of Extended Studies. Some programs are offered on campus and others at off-campus sites more convenient to persons living outside of Pueblo. Off-campus instruction sites include Downtown Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and Fort Carson.
The Division of Extended Studies provides courses to part-time and non-traditional students. Many educational methods—classroom instruction, correspondence courses, online courses, conferences, workshops, and seminars—are utilized to expand educational access and meet the needs of students at convenient times and settings. Students may earn academic credit toward a degree, study for career advancement, or pursue cultural and vocational interests.The Academic & Industry Partnerships Specialist is responsible for promoting credit and non-credit opportunities across campus, the Pueblo community, and throughout the region. The Specialist creates partnerships and networking opportunities to offer new and innovative course or partnership ideas, supporting those courses throughout each step of the process. The Specialist works with campus, community, and regional partners in the approvals, scheduling, marketing, registration, budgeting, and assessment of credit and non-credit educational opportunities to serve the mission and vision of CSU Pueblo.
Primary Duties
Academic Partnerships/Programming Support Supports departmental, cross-campus, and/or inter-system academic programming at CSU Pueblo. This includes short courses, supporting academic conferences, study abroad opportunities, and developing other innovative credit and non-credit programming opportunities in partnership with academic departments.
Responsible for collaborating with various campus partners for scheduling, billing, budgeting, marketing, faculty assignment, materials, data management, certificate completion, and assessment. Verifies departmental approval for all for-credit coursework per HLC requirements.
Industry Partnerships Support Regularly assesses market-driven educational needs and seeks partnerships to support those needs. Works with various industry partners including the Department of Corrections, Homeland Security, Workforce Development, and other government or industry partners to find new opportunities for events and credit or non-credit opportunities to support adult learners.
Partners with the Rural Outreach Specialist and Adult Learning/PLA Lead Specialist to seek and develop new partnership opportunities throughout the state of Colorado to provide pathways for credentials, opportunities for prior learning credit, and course offerings that serve a critical community need.
Division and University Affairs
Participates in Division and University affairs at CSU Pueblo, satellite and system locations to enhance the assigned programs' performance and quality. Works to meet the expectations of the university's mission and vision.

Salary Range
$55,000 - $65,000 Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and enterprise information systems
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Demonstrated project management skills
Minimum of 1 year of full-time professional experience
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
Demonstrated ability to be part of a team-oriented culture
Dedication to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion
Experience working in higher education
Experience working with exterior partners, and diverse student populations
