Position Description

CGI has an immediate need for a Jr. Full Stack Java Developer with AWS and Microservices experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. CANDIDATES NEED TO BE WILLING TO WORK 2-3 days/week onsite either in Reston, VA or Plano, TX.

Your future duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a strong Jr. Full Stack Developer with AWS to work on real implementations in a highly dynamic and fast-paced Agile environment. This incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java applications on the AWS cloud.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Typically requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

AWS Full Stack Developer - Java/ Angular, Microservices experience, Springboot, Hibernate

AWS development experience using Java, Node.js, lambda service, and scripting.

Experience with AWS code pipeline, AWS deployment automation, and AWS Service Catalog.

Develop AWS deployment automation services for various security-related applications and tools.

Design, build, test, deploy, and support deployment of tools in AWS.

Programming experience with Angular and Java, J2EE, XML, and Web Services

Experiences in full life cycle application/system development

Experience developing in distributed application environments (Database, Transaction Management)

Experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents and developing large-scale enterprise applications following an Agile execution model

Angular, Java, and J2EE experience

Experience/knowledge of AWS development and services

Experience with Application integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, File/Data transfers, etc.)

Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban

UCD, Terraform, Docker/Container basics

Source Code Control/Feature Branching/CICD Pipeline Basics, Version Control

Experience with Jenkins and GIT– Foundational

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field .

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,700.00 - $146,900.00.
