Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer to join a Premier Environmental Consultancy in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing environmental remediation projects, utilizing their expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site assessments, investigations, and feasibility studies to develop remediation strategies tailored to specific project objectives.
Design, implement, and oversee remediation systems, including soil and groundwater treatment technologies, in-situ remediation techniques, and vapor intrusion mitigation measures.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering professional growth and development within the team.
Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental remediation, with a focus on contaminated site cleanup and remediation system design.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex remediation projects, including experience with soil and groundwater remediation technologies.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations governing site remediation activities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
