Fedcap Wellness and Recovery Lead Generalist Manchester , New Hampshire Apply Now As a team leader, in conjunction with the program manager, the lead generalist provides direction and support for staff generalists ensuring member engagement and participation in clubhouse daily unit work; supports staff and members to complete member’s timely recovery/rehabilitation goals and success plans; assists with facilitating assessments and planning; and completes follow up reporting. The lead generalist helps members and staff follow the guidelines of the clubhouse model, ensures that clubhouse evaluations are conducted, and has a thorough knowledge of each work unit’s daily tasks and goals. The lead generalist has a good understanding of mental illness, acquired brain disorders, and has knowledge of beneficial accommodations and tools that will facilitate work success, both within the clubhouse environment and in a paid workplace.
Full-time-40 hours per week with some weekend hours.
Salary $23.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facilitate assigned tasks, projects, and assignments in a timely manner, maximizing members’ skills, talents, engagement, and leadership.
Plan and coordinate work to meet the needs of the clubhouse and its members.
Provide training and support to new members, staff, interns, volunteers.
Assist staff with managing Transitional Employment (TE) placements; developing work relationships; and training and supporting members on the job.
Facilitate member educational opportunities and supported and independent employment.
Encourage member engagement with all clubhouse opportunities, including planning, coordinating, and executing daily work side by side with clubhouse members and developing personal, employment, housing, and social goals.
Assist members in accessing needed community services and support while encouraging member’s self-sufficiency.
Foster a recovery environment in which members feel wanted, needed, and valued.
Staff clubhouse social and recreational programs. Flexibility to staff holiday hours on a staff rotation.
Develop, make presentations, and maintain essential community partnerships that benefit the clubhouse community.
Provide leadership with members in relationship to clubhouse mission and goals.
Be flexible with a sense of humor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Job qualifications are stated in the Essential Functions of the job description. An employee must be able to accomplish the Essential Functions to be competent in the job. Other special requirements are noted below.
Required Education and Job Experience
Preferred AS, BA or equivalent: social work, psychology, education, occupational therapy, human services, behavioral health, or related field. High School Diploma or equivalent essential.
At least two years minimum work experience in the mental health field or assisting people with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions is desired. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and be a good communicator. Passion to support individuals to reach their potential and have the highest quality of life possible. Training will be made available.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledgeable with MS office software applications, google, social media platforms, and electronic medical records. Experience with using assistive technology and cognitive enhancement software is beneficial.
Physical Demands
As an active day program setting, the position involves frequent standing, sitting, and moving around the space; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.; and some work in a kitchen environment.
