Job Summary

The analyst will report to the Director, Product Management, Consumer Entertainment responsible for streaming apps. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational performance metrics and reporting on user behavior on Xfinity Stream and TV Everywhere (TVE) partner properties, tracking of progress against goals, management of TVE partner reporting and drawing conclusions and insights from performance data.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Proactively identify, prioritize, and conduct analyses that drive meaningful change on key objectives established by senior leadership

Management, enhancement, and implementation of data tracking on Xfinity Stream

Provides weekly, monthly and KPI reports with analyses to support the business as necessary. Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks

Drawing insights of Xfinity Stream performance, comparing/contrasting user behavior across Xfinity Stream on various platforms, partnering with EBI, TPX and Marketing on the publication of KPIs to internal stakeholders – all with an eye toward improving business, product and marketing strategies.

Partner with various teams from across the organization to leverage in-house reporting tools that could augment current reporting capabilities to better understand customer interactions with Xfinity Stream

Manage, support and maintain the current TVE reporting systems for partners providing content to Xfinity Stream, including the Comcast Partner Portal (a web based app) serving our programming partners, custom daily feeds, and an Adobe Analytics integration. Responsibilities include:

Application support and maintenance

Security monitoring

Security & Privacy remediation / support

Programmer support / troubleshooting

Ad-hoc data requests

Adapting to back end system changes

Database maintenance

Assist with developing goals, tracking KPIs and performance analysis for Xfinity Stream, individual projects associated with Xfinity Stream for use in business case justifications and tentpole events (e.g., Olympics, March Madness, World Cup)

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Experience

Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of data analyst experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with several stakeholders across multiple organizations

Required knowledge includes process and data modeling, data architectural development methodology and working knowledge of databases

Demonstrated competence in systems analysis and design and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies

Experience building and supporting data queries, web applications and data analytics

Must have Intermediate to Advanced SQL/Teradata experience
