Job Summary and Qualifications **Work schedule: Fri/Sat/Sun - 1 PM - 9:30 PM**

The CT/MRI Technician performs superior/quality CT and MRI scans on all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards and magnet safety guidelines. Participates in departmental improvement activities.

What you will do in this role:

Ability to listen, interact and communicate verbally and in writing

Knowledge of magnet safety

Competence in CT and MRI imaging

Must show proficiency in starting intravenous lines

Must adhere to HCA’s Radiation Right Policies and follow ALARA guidelines

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Must have six months supervised MRI scanning; or, if the technologist was performing MRI prior to 1996, must have competency assessed by a Radiologist

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
