Senior Personnel Security Specialist

Overview:
Are you ready to join a team that plays a pivotal role in safeguarding national security? Case Management Consulting is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personnel Security Specialist to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Campus East (NCE) in Springfield, VA, and NGA Campus West (NCW) in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Security and Installations Directorate (SI) Personnel Security Division's (SISP) Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP). Your mission is to conduct national security investigations in strict compliance with the Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs).
Duties Included:
As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will:
Collect, investigate, research, document, and forward to adjudications all reportable information from employees and contractors within mandated timelines.
Process security reportables, adhering to defined timelines: two working days for high risk, ten working days for medium risk, and thirty calendar days for low risk.
Conduct issue-specific interviews with personnel at all levels to resolve security concerns and prepare accurate, high-quality investigation reports with mitigating information.
Conduct comprehensive interviews with Subjects/Sources and maintain accurate notes.
Review requested records to obtain relevant information for resolving security concerns that may impact an individual's judgment, reliability, and trustworthiness.
Utilize Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles.
Document, file, and maintain all actions in the PeopleSoft security system of record.
Collect, investigate, research, document, and forward adjudicative relevant information received through Automated Records Checks (ARC) and the Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) in accordance with SISP mandated timelines.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the thirteen Adjudicative Guidelines (SEAD 4).
Follow up as necessary to ensure timely action on all ARC and CEP events.
Adhere to non-disclosure agreements and Privacy Act guidelines to protect and safeguard proprietary, sensitive, confidential, and classified information.
Exhibit clear and concise writing skills and maintain positive, engaging communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Top Secret SCI.
Years of Experience: 7 - 10 years.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
