Account Technical Manager_

Job Description

A global software company is looking for an Account Technology Manager to join the Technology Sales vertical. This team joins together the sales organization and the customer base through relationship building and providing technical recommendations to solve business problems. This team delivers a top of the line place and route system, which offers hierarchical design and block-level implementation solutions for integrated circuit (IC) design. This person must come from a technical background, such as Design Engineering or have Electronic Design Automation experience in order to support customers effectively. This position has 25% travel to clients and 75% work from home, preference to candidates who are located out of California.

Key functions of the Account Technology Manager are:

- Aligning selling strategy and client management with business targets and sales objectives, including top-down account understanding and territory alignment

- Define, scope, and report major goals and priorities to internal stakeholders and prioritize short term / long term strategy for success

- Manager and create the product management and engagement plans to drive business results

- Understand and align customer decision making, usage, product success, impact, and technical engineering support that is necessary for customer problem solving

Skills and Requirements

- Technical BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Electronic Design Automation or IC Design spaces.

- Eagerness to work in a customer facing role, ideally in a technical sales role where you manager and develop customer relationships.

- Knowledge of digital implementation, including but not limited to, synthesis, place-and-route, PPA, and/or sign-off verification. Including but not limited to the tools, industry, and competitive landscape. - Masters Degree in an Engineering role, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering.

- Hands on expertise in a sales role within the place-and-route space null
