**Position Summary:** The HUB FinPath Financial Coach works with employees by analyzing the employees’ financial situation, gathering budget information, discussing financial obligations and goals with the purpose of counseling employees on specific actions the client may wish to take to improve their financial situation.

This position is also responsible for aligning the objectives and daily process to the program's goals and objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance and performance standards are met. The Financial Coach’s scope of responsibilities includes managing and reporting participant eligibility and engagement, providing classroom instruction and one-on-one coaching, promoting coaching activities, and supporting participation tracking.

In addition, the financial coach will support the mission of moving employees through the stages of financial security. The initial focus of helping those who are financially surviving improve financial behaviors by budgeting, reducing debt, improving credit score, and establishing emergency savings. With this foundation established employees will be able to transition overtime to the financially thriving stage with focus on future goals such as buying a home, saving for retirement, and funding a child’s education.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Conduct client meeting with the goal to communicate, educate, and engage employees on financial literacy resources.

+ Recruit, build and lead clients to achieve strategic performance objectives.

+ Establish and maintain excellent relationships with leadership, employees, clients by providing proactive, on-site case management and follow up services.

+ Promote FinPath tools and solutions to eligible employees.

+ Schedule and facilitate workshops on financial literacy topics.

+ Coach individuals by phone, virtual, and in-person.

+ Coordinate and schedule coaching sessions.

+ Maintain client data for impact reporting into the CRM system.

+ Recommend strategies employees and clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives, including specific recommendations in such areas as cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning.

+ Support employees and clients by helping them to develop a new perspective on the dynamics of money in relation to family, friends and individual self-esteem.

**Education and Experience**

+ Bilingual in English / Spanish Required

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred

+ Minimum of two years of work experience related to financial education and consulting is preferred. A varied work history is a plus

+ Credit/Personal finance counselor certification preferred

+ AFC® designation preferred

+ Occasional Travel Required

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members

+ Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite

**Hours of Work:**

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00pm with the schedule varying as program requirements dictate. Some early morning, evening and weekend work will potentially occur if requested by those who need support.

The expected pay range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
