Cognitus seeks a SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Dallas, Texas, Miami, FL or Nashville TN.
This person will collaborate closely with our customer and must demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. This person will bring subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for this client.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
• Investigate, analyze, and solve system issues.
• Assist with technical and business issues.
• Handle changes or emergency transport as needed for high priority issues.
• Perform requirements gathering, documentation and analysis.
• Assist with unit testing, system testing and user acceptance test plans.
• Assist project leads and functional consultants.
• Assist in data validation and data migration activities within projects.
• Provide effective and timely communications to management, peers, and others.
• Willing to travel as needed.
Required Skills:
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in SAP (preferably in an S/4 environment)
• Exposure to technical requirement workshops, performing technical and design analysis through multiple client environments.
• Exposure to working with Smart forms/Adobe Forms, custom enhancements, and modifications.
• Understands WRICEF development (Workflow, Reporting, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms)
• Any experience with multiple modules/projects developed for FICO, MM, WM, IM, PP, SD
• ALV Reporting
• OData Services
• Dialog Programming
• IDOC Configuration, EDI/ALE
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient with MS Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, Project
Education:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems or Software Engineering
Additional skills:
• Greenfield and/or Brownfield implementation experience is a plus.
• Experience in the IT industry or equivalent.
• Object Oriented Programming and SQL experience preferred.
• Eager to learn new skills to become a better team member and professional.
• Good teamwork skills and work ethic
