Our client is a major diversified global manufacturer and solutions provider with annual revenue of nearly $8 billion. It specializes in producing high-performance and engineered solutions and components for critical applications in various industries including oil and gas, power generation, aerospace and industrial manufacturing. Our client currently seeks a Finance Director to lead a team of 7 Finance Managers in different countries.

THE POSITION

This senior position reports to the CFO and requires a proven financial leader with a 10+ year track record of success providing forward looking financial leadership, analysis, and reporting to the President and senior leadership team of Dover Precision Components. This position is also responsible for managing Finance managers across all our locations globally and a key business partner for the VP Operations. The ideal candidate will provide forward-looking financial leadership, analysis, and reporting to support the President and senior leadership team. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in manufacturing and Operations, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functional areas within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate as the Financial Leader for all manufacturing sites within the company’s group (including 4 different brands). Reporting to the CFO and partnering with the Vice President, Operations and cross-functionally to meet short-term and long-term goals.

Lead 7 finance managers and a financial analyst and partner cross-functionally to produce monthly, annual, and multi-year financial forecasts that drive results, supporting our company objectives.

Lead in Operations meetings utilizing financial reports and forecasts to identify and mitigate risk through Manufacturing/Operations Organization.

Ensure the Operations leadership team has a clear understanding of the financial performance, financial levers; provide continuous monitoring and feedback to all departments within operations on cost and headcount budget target adherence.

Develop successful cross-functional relationships across Production, and Supply Chain

Track production process efficiency and productivity as it pertains to financial reporting. Displaying financial trends, key actions, and strategic implications to meeting or exceeding profitability targets.

Identify key Growth and Value Levers within Operations Organization and communicate at the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Meetings.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making (including price to cost coverage, products profitability).

Lead CAPEX Budget application across manufacturing Sites by monitoring timely CAPEX submission and evaluation of each Site requirements. Additionally support the Post-evaluation of Key CAPEX projects.

Supports manufacturing sites to reach Working Capital targets by constantly monitoring Sites performance and team up with the Supply Chain to implement correction/improvement steps where required.

THE CANDIDATE

Will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field, MBA or Master of Accounting preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing process for both short and long cycle businesses, strong record of driving productivity improvements as well as knowledge of cost accounting principles.

Ability to navigate in a matrix environment and across functional and global structures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of driving results and leading change initiatives.

Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software, such as Syteline, OneStream, Hyperion, or Longview/Khalix.

CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Relocation within the US.
