Job Summary
A leader with responsibility/accountability for managing the department’s financial requirements to include but not limited to: creating & maintaining monthly financial reports, managing and developing annual budget, training and supporting leaders and staff all in an effort to support the mission and goals of the health system.
Job Requirements
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Experience Required: 5-7 Years of Accounting Experience Preferred: Experience in healthcare in a professional/technical accounting role
Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to direct and supervise staff Sound knowledge of accounting principles Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams Excellent knowledge of Office Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making High attention to detail and accuracy withthe ability to prioritize and coordinate the completion of multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner
Licensure/Certification/Registration Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
