Program Grant Coordinator

Job Description Responsible for the coordination and functional operations of the grant program. Plans and implements program activities on campus. Prepares reports related to the grant and performs analysis and assessment of data to determine the effectiveness of program activities and outcomes. This is a grant funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding.
Minimum Base Pay: $46,721.00. All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate's education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates the activities of one or more staff. Assists in scheduling and administrative requirements. This may include student workers, part-time, full-time, temporary, and volunteers
Ensures compliance with program and budgetary terms set forth within the grant document. Prepares status and final reports for funding agencies or industry. Monitors expenditure and revenue patterns and adjusts the budget as needed.
Designs, develops, and implements programs on a broad spectrum of topics to a variety of populations within the college. Evaluates the effectiveness and success of programs after implementation.
Provides information to the public, students, and staff regarding programs and services of a department, campus, or College.
Advises students as to course of study, particular course offerings, necessary testing, and prerequisites. Assists in understanding educational, personal and occupational strengths and limitations. Counsels students regarding their adaptability to a college environment.
Conducts needs assessment and designs, creates, and presents training content and materials.
Collects data needed to perform planning and programming activities through methods including field surveys, interviews, and records research.
Develops short-term goals. Includes goals, objectives, priorities and recommendations.
Maintains current knowledge of field or profession. Travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings and professional events outside of college locations, as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree within specific subject area related to the position
Two years of related experience
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Skill in:
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Thinking strategically, effectively analyzing data, and implementing data-informed decisions
Promoting cooperative behavior and team efforts
Ability to:
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Valid Florida driver’s license
