The Engineering Productivity team manages the build system, CI & CD pipelines, software installers, cloud environments and plays a key role in the software development process.
We are looking for an Engineer with a focus in DevOps to join our team to improve engineering efficiencies. The candidate should be an experienced DevOps engineer who enjoys working on build and deployment infrastructure. Must also have a good command of python and bash scripting, and should have excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, work efficiently and thrive in a team environment.
You will have an opportunity to lead projects from concept to release. Engage engineers from other teams to learn what they need and build amazing tools to make them more efficient and effective in their day-to-day work. Your work will enable the team to design, build and service next-generation of medical device technology faster.
What You’ll Do :
Support the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline development by working closely with engineering teams to support their business requirements
Take up and drive new DevOps initiatives to help improve the overall software development processes
Advance and improve software build and general support infrastructure
Develop provisioning and deployment strategies
Support AWS cloud infrastructure
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
6 + years of experience with CI & CD pipeline support and development using Jenkins.
4+ years of experience with scripting in Bash & Python
6+ years of experience working in Linux-based development & build environments
4+ years of experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes & Terraform
Expertise in code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks
Experience with JFrog Artifactory or Nexus
Experience with any static analysis tools like SonarQube, Coverity, or similar tool
Able to travel domestic US up to 10%
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience working with medical devices
Experience with QNX and Yocto
Experience with CMake or Bazel
AWS certifications
The anticipated base salary pay range for this position is: $119,000 to $191,820
