$87,900.00 - $131,800.00 POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for helping to drive the business development efforts spanning new member acquisition, member onboarding, member retention, and further member engagement of credit union products and services. Identifies both business and community partners with the goal of member acquisition.
Acts as the primary support for the Wescom Mobile Branch, on-site employers, member acquisition, and advertising events. Has primary responsibility for supporting any community outreach, advertising/or marketing campaign associated with any strategic partnership the credit union may enter into. Spearheads onsite SEG and community activations in support of membership growth, financial literacy education, and increased branch community involvement throughout branch network. Identifies potential SEG partnerships, onboarding new SEGs, and generating SEG business growth. Acts as a point of contact for SEGs and branches for business relationship matters.
Provides administrative support to the Corporate Partnership Manager by preparing reports, compiling and tracking of certain department metrics. Maintains internal tracking of spreadsheets to properly monitor key data.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Schedules and conducts membership on-site presentations to discuss Wescom membership and provides education on Wescom products and services.
Responsible for opening new memberships and other products and services at employer sites, mobile branch events, advertising events, and other community events throughout our branch network communities.
Identifies potential employers for business development activities such as member acquisition and further engagement of Wescom products and services. Once relationship is established the Corporate Partnership Representative will be responsible for maintaining a successful relationship with the Selected Employer Group.
Responsible for identifying outreach opportunities for member acquisition, further engagement of Wescom products and services and member retention.
Works with marketing communication to create and coordinate member acquisition campaigns, membership product and services engagement campaigns, and membership retention campaigns.
Responsible for using appropriate channels to communicate marketing promotions to staff members.
Responsible for tracking member acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.
Assists in creating written correspondence including, but not limited to, memos, flyers, marketing letter, and other materials.
Maintains an awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and financial services products and services and member acquisition.
Must be willing to be available during non-traditional business hours and travel to branches, employer sites, marketing, community or business development events within Wescom’s field of membership.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business and five or more years experience in a financial institution is preferred.
Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral; ability to quickly embrace change and effectively lead others through change; consistently demonstrates professionalism; ability to work in a fast paced environment; ability to work well with others and be a team player; and ability to be creative, productive and goal oriented. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Must be proficient in job related technology applications including the Credit Union’s operating system and lending system.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be proficient in technology applications including the Credit Union’s operating system and specialized software required for performance of position.
Must maintain proficiency in using and demonstrating all technology available to members including but not limited to mobile and online banking services. Familiar with desktop publishing software such as Quark, PageMaker, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Solid understanding of using the web and web applications such as social media, blogs, and online marketing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
