We are currently seeking a Senior Director AI Technology to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
As the Director of AI within the Office of the CTO for the Public Sector at NTT DATA, you will lead the charge in leveraging artificial intelligence to solve complex challenges faced by our Federal and SLED clients. Your role will be pivotal in driving the development and delivery of AI solutions that are at the forefront of technological innovation into our key government customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead AI offerings for the public sector, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
Collaborate with key partners, including Microsoft, AWS, GCP, ServiceNow, Snowflake, and IBM , to build and implement solutions leveraging their industry leading solutions.
Drive the adoption of GenAI, ensuring robust data management and governance practices.
Exhibit executive presence, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels and representing NTT DATA at industry events.
Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and continuous learning.
Support sales and account teams across Federal and SLED clients by leading executive-level conversations around artificial intelligence and its practical applications in their business.
Speak at industry conferences and publish thought leadership to establish NTT DATA as a thought leader in the AI space.
Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to provide strategic technology advice and consultation
Develop innovative IT solutions tailored to clients' unique business challenges
Author thought leadership articles for trade publications, showcasing NTT DATA's expertise and industry insights
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to inform and refine NTT DATA's strategy
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
5+ years of recent experience working with Public Sector clients, including Federal Health & Civilian Agencies and State, Local, and Education agencies
5+ years of experience with legacy modernization solutions in Federal Health & Civilian Agencies and/or SLED
5+ years of Consulting experience
Strong knowledge of technology trends, emerging technologies, and their applications in the Public Sector
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to write thought leadership articles for trade publications
Experience in training, mentoring, or coaching Sales and Client Executives on technology offerings and solutions
Experience presenting to senior executives and large audiences
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Must live close to a major airport and have the ability to travel up to 50%
Prefer someone based in the Chicago or DC area
