Job Summary and Description
Promotesthe protection of Alamo College District's information resources, data andprivacy of the college. Regulates access to system data and preventsunauthorized modifications, destruction, or disclosure of information inalignment with Alamo Colleges Districtsecurity standards. Works with District IT Security to ensure the college isprepared to respond effectively to protect network systems and information.
Reports to the collegeDirector of Information Technology.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
Three years of progressively responsible IT work experience as an analyst, systems administrator or equivalent role with security responsibilities or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in information sciences, business or a closely related field.
Licenses and Certifications:
One or more of the followingcertifications required:A+,Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+.
Prefer CISSP, SSCP, ISSAP, or CISAcertification(s).
