Job/Position DescriptionThe Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Enterprise Architect performs highly advanced computer systems analysis work for the Information Technology Services (ITS) Division. Provides guidance and leadership in business architecture and systems processing and leads creation of business architecture models and initiatives using project management best practices and industry architecture frameworks. Oversees the development, analysis, and revision of design procedures, program codes, test procedures, and quality standards. Leads systems design efforts, defines end-to-end architectures, and manages research studies to develop systems recommendations, implementation planning, logical descriptions of problems and optimum solutions. Develops program budgets and makes recommendations for cost reductions in technology and business strategies and analyzes current and proposed systems in terms of costs, benefits and value-added functionality. Provides analyses and consultation to agency leadership on key technology issues affecting the agency and researches emerging trends and ideas. Analyzes and defines agency disaster recovery responsibilities and procedures.
