Summary

To support sales and marketing activities and generate new business.

Responsibilities

Generating sales through telemarketing efforts and relationship building with customers.

Self-starter with ability to articulate a clear message and drive opportunities by asking the appropriate questions of customers.

Ensure that databases are current and updated daily with accurate, "real time" information

Routinely reference system report for additional sales opportunities

Participate in sales efforts including marketing activities (in-house sales meetings and efforts to assist in all aspects of lead generation

Follow-up on scheduled calls with prospects being nurtured and work with outside sales people to close outstanding RFQ’s.

Review all RFQ’s you have been involved with, and update information such as status, customers notes, future contact, etc.

Work closely with our partner to optimize usage of marketing programs and tools.

Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.

Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner (within 24 hours).

Partner with current in-house customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales.

Qualifications

High school diploma; Associates degree, preferred or equivalent, relevant industry work experience

Strong and engaging interpersonal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high transaction environment

Prior experience in telemarketing or CRM software a plus but not required.

Demonstrated history of achieving call volume quota and engagement success.
