Director of Marketing iPlay America

We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing with experience in Family Entertainment, Corporate Events or Hospitality & Nightlife. This is a leadership position that requires a proactive self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrates expertise in strategic marketing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic marketer who is enthusiastic about building brand identity and leading marketing tactics for a unique indoor family entertainment center. iPlay America, The Event Center at IPA, Topgolf Swing Suite, The Loaded Spoon & Fundaes Arcade.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, advertising campaigns, earned media opportunities such as promotions, activations, and special events to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue.
Competitor Research and Market Insights Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify new opportunities.
Research and present competitive industry trends and best practices.
Identify and target new audience segments and markets.
Working knowledge of google analytics, email serves such as mail chimp & excel database management.
Campaign Management and Coordination: Oversee strategy and development of digital marketing, social media, advertising, and public relations efforts from inception to completion.
Develop and secure earned media opportunities such as press and organic social content.
Manage growth of internal databases and communication through email and text campaigns.
Procure and oversee sponsors and community partners to build brand awareness.
Develop promotions and grow loyalty programs.
Department Oversight: Collaborate with marketing team to create engaging content and materials.
Work closely with all departments of the organization to align marketing efforts with company goals (operations, food and beverage, sales, etc.).
Coordinate website updates and oversee optimization and accuracy of company websites.
Manage outsourced marketing and venders.
Budget and Financial Understanding: Understand financial aspects, including research and development appropriations, and expenditures.
Manage the marketing budget and track ROI of campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the entertainment industry
Proactive leader with strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a close-knit team and cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
