The Senior Director, Cybersecurity Risk Management is a highly visible and influential global leadership role that leads Workday’s comprehensive cybersecurity risk management program, provides change leadership and strategic direction to mitigate the organization's cybersecurity risks and authentically inspires and supports our Workmates. Establishing and fostering exceptional partnerships with leaders and teams across Workday, especially Product, Technology, Privacy, Legal, Internal Audit, other risk management functions at Workday and within Cybersecurity is key to success. Combining business insight with technical competence, this leader assists in improving the cybersecurity posture with respect to risk management. This role will support the business in achieving organizational objectives while not compromising its security posture.

Director, Cybersecurity Risk

Basic Requirements:

10+ years of experience in a cybersecurity risk and/or related role

5+ years of experience in cloud technologies

5+ years of people leadership experience

5+ years experience crafting strategic roadmaps, driving execution and leading change across the enterprise

5+ years of experience with risk frameworks and principles

Sr. Director, Cybersecurity Risk

Basic Requirements:

15+ years of experience in a cybersecurity risk and/or related role

5+ years of experience in cloud technologies

5+ years of people leadership experience

5+ years experience crafting strategic roadmaps, driving execution and leading change across the enterprise

5+ years of experience with risk frameworks and principles

Other Requirements:

Deep capability in applying risk principles to the business environment. Ability to clearly articulate risk concepts and results to business leaders and navigate collaborative and informed decision making.

Proven experience with key performance indicators and key risk indicators and the ability to set, apply, and report them on a regular basis.

Can effectively connect with both technical and non-technical staff. Ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts into plain English and present them in a way that decision-makers can understand.

Positive influencing skills both verbally and through the preparation of written materials in order to build relationships, influence and negotiate.

Strong project management and delegation skills in prioritizing and reprioritizing projects of various size and complexity across multiple functional groups and departments.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.VA.McLean (Tyson's Corner)

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $219,200 USD - $328,900 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $198,400 USD - $349,800 USD
