THE ROLE: Sr. Solutions Architect, Network Security

Job Summary:

As a Sr Solutions Architect, you will be a member of the Pre-Sales Engineering Team and will be responsible for meeting with Presidio's customers, collecting requirements for business solutions related to security projects and developing engineering solutions for sale to Presidio customers. Candidates will need to demonstrate a high level of design experience (implementation experience with the various security products and technologies are a plus), be highly motivated about learning new products and technologies, able to effectively communicate with customers, ensure superior customer service, and maintain a strong customer relationship.

Travel Requirements: In this role you will be expected to travel up to 10%. It will be based in Atlanta, GA

Job Responsibilities:

The essential responsibilities of the Senior Solutions Architect are to work directly with customers and account managers in pre-sales situations, and to work effectively across functions with other Presidio employees in Sales, Marketing, Proposals, and Project Management areas. Specific responsibilities include:

Provide technical thought leadership in advanced security solutions

Clear understanding of cyber security principles and how to combine them with business requirements.

Meet with customers to identify business drivers, desired business outcomes and gather technical requirements

Design and demonstrate security solutions that are scalable and easy to adapt to changing business requirements

Create Customer facing Security Presentations and drive whiteboard conversations around Security

Establish status as a Trusted Advisor with Presidio customers

Create Bill of Materials & configurations for Security Solutions, Build Scope of Services and Professional Services Pricing and Write Statements of Work

Collaborate with vendor peers and engage new vendors to maintain an agnostic approach to security

Continuously update the skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing market landscape and customer needs

Ability to self-pace and self-set direction in a team environment to drive business

Work in a diverse team of passionate professionals that exemplify Presidio's high ethical standards

Collaborate with Presidio's Professional Services organizations on developing deployment models

Work with Account Manager/Sales Team to develop customer relationship and Security Solutions and assist in overall sales process

Required Skills:

Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of one or more of the following:

Firewalls/VPNs (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.)

Load balancing/Acceleration solutions (Cisco, F5, Netscaler)

Network Access Control, including Aruba ClearPass and/or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

Palo Alto Product Suite

Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Cyber-Security (pen-testing, GRC, etc.)

Advanced level understanding of the market segment business and technical requirements

Ability to work cooperatively with sales, services and the PMO teams

Ability to sell internally to account managers and sales leadership and externally to our customers

Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and its security concerns

Able to lead CIO/CTO level presentations, solution demonstrations and whiteboard sessions

Demonstrated passion for technology, solution design and self-study

Excellent verbal and written communication, organization skills and detail oriented

Strong time management to effectively and efficiently manage one's own time.

Additional Desired Skills:

Proven knowledge of solutions from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, AWS, Microsoft Azure, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Cybereason, Cisco Security, Fire Eye, Splunk, F5, RSA, ForeScout, LogRhythm, Splunk, Okta, etc.

Leading industry certifications such as, CISSP (strongly desired), CCIE-Security, CISA, CISM, CEH, CHP, and AWS Cloud Architect

Experience working for a systems integrator

Experience and ability to prepare RFP/RFI response, proposals and solutions

Solid working knowledge of vendor programs and partner eco-system

Experience with office productivity software and diagramming software such as MS Visio or Lucidchart

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience

7+ years of working experience in systems engineering and/or solution architecture

5 + years field technical sales experience working with large accounts or territories
