Job Description

What You’ll Do :

Strategic Analysis & Insight Generation:

Mastery in performing business case-style analysis and synthesis, crucial for those who thrive on understanding the 'Why' behind shifting business landscapes, consumer behaviors, and operational practices.

Passion for uncovering deep insights that lead to impactful, data-driven decisions, ideal for those who never tire of digging deeper.

Project Leadership & Hands-On Delivery:

Lead and execute multiple analytical projects within a dynamic delivery environment, including stages from data acquisition and validation to robust analysis.

Proven ability to deliver clear, actionable recommendations by conducting thorough investigations, such as analyzing in-store data to tackle product stockouts.

Influential Storytelling & Behavioral Change:

Craft and communicate persuasive narratives based on solid data insights, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving behavioral change.

Skilled in leveraging fact-based storytelling to make a compelling case for strategic decisions.

Client Communication & Relationship Management:

Drive effective communication and cultivate strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across client organizations.

Active listening and articulate communication are key to understanding and meeting stakeholder requirements and concerns.

Collaborative Thought Leadership:

Engage in thought leadership and team collaboration within the client ecosystem, product management, and sales to enhance the value derived from Store Intelligence initiatives.

Be a catalyst for teamwork and idea-sharing to foster innovation and growth.

Technical Acumen & Data Integration:

Employ a strong technical foundation to integrate and interpret new and varying datasets for generating valuable insights.

Leverage understanding of data science to maximize speed and robustness of analysis.

Client Requirements & Active Listening:

Interact with business stakeholders to grasp their needs fully, ensuring that solutions are well-aligned with their objectives.

Exceptional listening and communication skills are fundamental to excelling in this role.

Agile Project Management:

Methodically manage daily tasks and projects, leveraging lean/agile methodologies for efficient team-level process execution.

Comfort and proficiency with agile practices will contribute to your effectiveness.

Industry-Specific Experience:

Strong background in creating actionable business strategies from data-driven insights, particularly within the grocery retail sector.

What You Need:

Desire 10+ year’s relevant experience in Grocery Retail / CPG

Expertise and experience in synthesizing complex information to uncover the underlying factors affecting results

Proven capability to lead and manage insight-driven analytical projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery and implementation of recommendations.

The skill to articulate data insights through compelling storytelling that can influence decisions and drive behavioral change among stakeholders through both written and oral communications

Strong interpersonal skills to foster and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders across various levels of an organization

Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required

Competency in writing SQL highly desired

Understanding of Data Science and experience using Power BI would be an added plus!
