**Description**
- Facilitates warehouse to warehouse transfer order movement and receipt, interacts with TMS / Traffic Department to facilitate movement.
- Conducts reconciliation of third party storage inventory against system inventory information.
- Assists in inventory management, performs various inventory research and resulting transactions.
- Fields calls from internal and external customers and problem solves as necessary to address concerns.
- Organizes and maintains department Sharepoint site, oversight of online file system.
- Monitors specific categories of shipments for quick and efficient customer invoicing.
- Uses critical thinking and communication skills to expedite solutions among various parties involved in related ERP system processes.
- Performs various special projects in support of Global Sales and Support groups, duties assigned as needed
- Maintains departmental distribution lists.
- Creates correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
- Supports preparation of courier packages, using Fed Ex, DHL and other necessary websites, audits related invoices for payment.
- Provides back-up coverage to reception staff during absences.
**Minimum Requirements**
**Education/Experience:**
- 3 years or more of administrative work experience required.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Ability to meet multiple tasks/projects deadlines with changing priorities while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication ability.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of email, spreadsheet software, word processing software and presentation software. Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
**Special Training/Skills:**
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
