TITLE: Process Technician – 2nd shift

Comp: From $65,000-$80,000/yr

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Process Technician direct hire position in Shelbyville, IN

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for programming within CNC’s Mills and Lathes
• Will be tasked with troubleshooting parts quality issues as well as understanding what suggestions to make related to Tooling challenges that arise.
• Maintains high standards of work even under tight deadlines. Strives for accuracy and excellence from the start, thoroughly tests new methods, and consistently promotes a culture of quality.
• Will perform and track time trials of Machining Cells
• Applies a systems-oriented approach to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions. Considers multiple perspectives, focuses on underlying processes, and evaluates various options before acting.
• Drives progress toward efficiency and results. Takes initiative to prevent issues, assigns clear responsibilities, and addresses challenges directly with timely, effective decisions.
• Makes thoughtful decisions by evaluating urgency, complexity, and impact. Organizes and prioritizes work based on time sensitivity and overall importance.
• Follows procedures meticulously and ensures data accuracy. Maintains organized records, monitors performance closely, and leverages strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure consistency.
• Operates effectively with minimal oversight. Takes full ownership of responsibilities and consistently delivers high-quality results on schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Min of 2 years of experience in either CNC Machine Operations or experience Programming CNC’s
• Min of 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Experienced with the part quality side of a manufacturing organization
• Ability to show past examples of how their ideas in past roles led to improvement, whether that be cost savings, reduced downtime, or finishing a project within the given timeline
