Job Description Job Description PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This junior role is expected to have intermediate knowledge and skills of talent development practices and will be responsible for: Independently facilitating retail and non-retail courses in-person and virtually, serve as an administrator in technology talent development programs, and have the ability to assess, diagnose, prescribe, and evaluate leader and team member development gaps.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
Maintain an assigned portfolio (Market coverage area) of retail and non-retail clients by assessing for development needs, sharing resources, strategizing ways to close development gaps, conducting personalized development opportunities, and participating in their departmental meetings (When applicable) to better understand their developmental needs: strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/threats.
Facilitate (in-person or virtually) basic and intermediate level retail subjects such as but not exclusive to: Teller school, deposit account school, and product knowledge.
Facilitate (in-person or virtually) basic and intermediate professional/career/leadership development subjects such as but not exclusive to new hire orientation, customer conversations, communication principles, and general customer service content.
Serve as an administrator in all capacities in the learning management system (Bank Administration Institute). As an administrator the expectation is to create enrollment for in-person and virtual classes, create rules for group assignments, run completion reports, troubleshoot user issues such as password resets, and update profile information when needed.
Be abreast of the most recent talent development and learning content and curriculum trends/best practices and use that information as a resource within your portfolio.
Use best practices for in-person or virtual classroom management for class discussions, student engagement, and class activities.
Use proper evaluation techniques like the Kirkpatrick Model or the L&D Detective Toolkit for all learning initiatives.
Regularly log into the Customer Service Profiles application and use that data within your portfolio by communicating results and creating a plan with your client to close performance gaps.
Edit existing retail and non-retail learning content. This includes ensuring all updates are relevant, accurate, and implemented in a timely manner; which involves partnering with other departments who may require specific updates.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Proof of advanced knowledge of continued learning in either talent development/organizational development/human resources development must be provided in one of the following ways professional associations, college courses, certificate programs, credentials, consistent conference attendance, consistent volunteering, etc. Bachelors or master’s degree in related talent development field is a plus
Overall knowledge of bank processes, application systems, and products is a plus Experience working in banking is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications to include: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
Experience with in-person and/or virtual facilitation and course creation is required
Strong oral and written communications skills is required
The ability to work with a diverse group of people is required
