Adecco is proud to partner with a midsized Dallas law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 to 10 years of experience in civil litigation defense, with a strong preference for prior work in construction law or design professional law, to join our Dallas office.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes
+ Manage all phases of discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, electronic document production, and taking and defending depositions
+ Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other necessary legal documentation
+ Formulate legal strategy and case management
+ Appear in court for status hearings and trials
+ Work closely with other attorneys and team members on legal matters
+ Communicate with clients and provide status reports
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ JD from an accredited law school
+ Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
+ 2 to 10 years of prior experience practicing law
+ Strong preference for previous practical work experience in construction litigation matters
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Experience in handling a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to manage a caseload independently and responsibly
+ Willingness to travel as needed
