RESPONSABILITS

* tablir et prioriser les besoins en art;

* Grer l'quipe de 3d artistes

* S'assurer de la qualit du contenu art;

* Collaborer avec les autres dpartements pour s'assurer de la faisabilit et de la qualit des lments artistiques;

* Crer des modles et textures d'objets de haute qualit, incluant des lments architecturaux,organiques, de la gologie et des vhicules;

* Travailler avec l'quipe de design et s'assurer que les modles supportent les objectifs de jouabilit.

* Atteindre les cibles de style et de qualit tablies par le Directeur artistique;

* Collaborer troitement avec le Directeur artistique technique et l'quipe artistique pour comprendre et, au besoin, tablir des processus de production qui tiennent compte des contraintes techniques du jeu;

PROFIL

* 5 ans ou plus d'exprience titre d'Artiste ou d'Artiste en chef dans l'industrie du jeu vido;

* Avoir livr au moins 2 titres multiplateformes;

* Connaissances approfondies des techniques et des processus de cration d'un jeu vido;

* Expert de 3DS Max; ou un autre logiciel 3d quivalent;

* Connaissances approfondies de UE4,Zbrush et Substance;

* Attitude enthousiaste, positive et axe sur l'quipe.

Gearbox -award-winning, independent developer of interactive entertainment hits Borderlands, Brothers In Arms and Battleborn-is looking for a Lead 3D Artist to join our team in Quebec.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Establish and prioritize art needs;

* Manage the team of 3d artists

* Ensure the quality of the art content;

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure feasibility and quality of art elements;

* Create high quality object models and textures, including architectural, organic, geological and vehicle elements;

* Work with the design team to ensure that models support gameplay objectives.

* Meet style and quality targets set by the Art Director;

* Work closely with the Technical Art Director and the art team to understand and, if necessary, establish production processes that take into account the technical constraints of the game;

CANDIDATE PROFILE

* 5+ years of experience as an Artist or Lead Artist in the video game industry;

* Shipped at least 2 multiplatform titles;

* In-depth knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in creating a video game;

* Expert in 3DS Max; or other equivalent 3d software;

* In-depth knowledge of UE4, Zbrush and Substance;

* Enthusiastic, positive and team-oriented attitude.
