Position Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and supervise the curriculum being implemented with age- and developmentally- appropriate activities, while observing and assessing the individual needs of the children.
Supervise and direct the staff and assist in their on-site orientation and training.
Responsible for developing and implementing quality programming and scheduling for assigned program(s).
Develop the weekly schedule, a monthly calendar of events, which should be posted with all necessary licensing materials
Take attendance daily and keep track of student absences.
Responsible for the site environment, communicating with parents, students, school administration when necessary, as well as supervising and directing staff and students.
Serve as a liaison to the school personnel, specifically the principal and his/her designee and handle communication of student-related problems, including behavior problems, documenting in timely matter, and sharing with your supervisor.
Know and ensure that state regulations are maintained at your site.
Report any suspected child abuse to the Youth Development Coordinator. Document as necessary.
Assure all CDC health and licensing guidelines are followed to provide a safe environment.

Education Bachelor's degree in Child Development or ECE plus three units in Administration, plus 3 years of teaching experience OR
AA Degree (Required)
Additional Information At least 21 years of age TB clearance, pre-employment physical examination
Department of Justice, FBI clearance, and request for Child Abuse Index
CPR/First Aid within time requested by Program Director
Copies of all transcripts and proof of work experience will be required
