Raytheon is the leading provider of Electronic Warfare Systems for Space and Airborne Platforms. This position is for a Principal Systems Engineer who will provide engineering leadership to Systems Engineering Integration & Test teams.

What You Will Do:

+ The Systems Integration & Test Engineer provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition .

+ Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine the appropriate resolution.

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Physics) with a minimum of 8 years of related work experience.

+ Experience in radar threat analysis and EW technique development/analysis.

+ Experience in verification and validation of system and/or subsystem requirements.

+ Experienced presenter preparing and presenting reports and briefings both orally and written.

+ Experienced with leading peers and team members during test phases.

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

+ Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture), specifically using SysML.

+ RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules

+ Experience with Special Test Equipment and Modeling and Simulation.

+ Experience working in an Agile development environment.

+ Experience with DevSecOps delivery pipelines and software development principals

+ Experience with tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence

+ Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.

+ Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.

+ Experience with security requirements related to government testing.

+ Experience with requirements verification and tracking tools such as DOORS.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
