SEAS Leisure Program Director

, MA, United States

Performs routine and complex administrative work in planning, organizing, coordinating and administering a Summer Day Program for children ages 5-13. Responsible for up to 60 children and 10-15 staff. Program runs from July 1- August 16, 2024. Staff hours are 7:30AM-4:45PM. Must also be available for Parent Orientation (July 15) and Staff Orientation (June 25-28).

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be attending College or be a College Graduate. Must have 3 years of summer day program experience or a combination of education and experience. First Aid and CPR Certified. Valid Driver’s License. Must pass CORI & SORI check.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of summer program planning. Ability to develop, coordinate, and direct varied activities involved in a summer program; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, vendors, contractors, participants, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Good character, integrity, and adaptability. Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
